Fangst Laks No. 2 Salmon with Sea Buckthorn & Lemon Verbena

Faroe Islands salmon, packed in cold-pressed rapeseed oil with crushed sea buckthorn and lemon verbena. Sea buckthorn is a small orange berry that grows along northern coastlines, and it gets called the Nordic lemon because it's so tart. The lemon verbena adds a soft, herbal citrus note on top of that.

The Faroes sit out in the North Atlantic with cold water and strong currents, which is a big part of why their salmon has such a good reputation. What you get here is a proper fillet with a gentle sourness from the berries. It's lovely on toast with crème fraîche and a few capers, or folded through soft scrambled eggs.
