Policy · Updated 11 July 2026
What you see is what you pay.
No customs delays. No surprise fees. No fine print. Every order from Chef's Edge ships Delivered Duty Paid — the taxes, duties and tariffs for your country are already inside the price at checkout.
- Every checkout price includes your country's import taxes, duties and tariffs.
- We ship Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) worldwide — the courier collects nothing on arrival.
- You will never be billed by DHL, FedEx, Australia Post or your local customs authority.
- If a courier does try to charge you, decline the parcel and email us — we settle it or refund the same day.
What DDP means
Delivered Duty Paid, plain English.
DDP is the international shipping term for the seller pays every tax on your behalf. Practically, that means:
- Our checkout total already includes your country's import taxes, duties and (where applicable) tariffs.
- We prepay them to the courier at the moment your parcel is dispatched from Osaka.
- Customs clears your parcel as a fully-paid shipment — usually in hours, not days.
- It's handed to you at the door. No signature card, no fee, no phone call from a broker.
Wherever you're shopping from
Every country we ship to.
Our website covers duties and taxes worldwide. Put simply: if you can complete checkout, this page covers you. The import taxes, tariffs, and duties for your specific destination are already priced into your total before you hit "Pay" — whether you're in Los Angeles, London, Toronto, Auckland, Dubai, or anywhere else we deliver.
For Australian orders, GST is included in every shelf price, and shipping is free on orders over $150 AUD.
