Steel Type

SGSTRIX is a high-carbon, high stainless powder steel designed to perform better than SG2, whilst being even easier to sharpen. It has finer carbibe sizes similar to Blue or White Steel, with high corrosion resistance.

Care Information

This knife is made with a stainless steel and is easy going and low on maintenance. It has high chromium content, meaning it is generally considered safe to leave wet on the board for short periods of time. is still best practice to not leave this knife to air dry as it's stain-less not stain-none! Wipe down after washing the knife and store away from any sources of moisture.

Super Thin Bevels

The bevels being so thin makes it easy to achieve a crazy sharp edge and cut dense vegetables rather than splitting them. The kiritsuke tip also makes precise cuts such as on garlic possible. A pleasure to use.
