Muneishi knives are handcrafted by Kosuke Muneishi in Tosa using the traditional Warikomi technique, where a glowing piece of cladding is split and the core steel inserted before being forged together by hand. This demanding process requires exceptional skill and finesse. Our collection features Blue 2 carbon steel in a rustic kurouchi finish paired with comfortable octagon oak handles, delivering excellent edge retention and that satisfying sharpness carbon steel is loved for.
